NIS - Neurological Integration System, NIS for the whole family.

At Neuro Restore, we believe in supporting the whole family with a natural and holistic approach to health. Our gentle yet highly effective method, the Neurological Integration System (NIS), is suitable for all ages — from children to adults.

NIS is based on the principles of neurophysiology, addressing the root cause of dysfunction by working directly with the nervous system. The brain is responsible for governing all bodily functions, but under the influence of stress, trauma, illness, or environmental and lifestyle pressures, the communication pathways between the brain and body can become disrupted.

Using NIS, Natalie identifies where these neurological connections have become impaired, and works to reconnect the circuits, allowing the body to restore itself to optimal health and function — naturally, and without force.

NIS can support the restoration of (but is not limited to):

  • Neurological & Cognitive: Concussion, brain fog, lethargy, burnout, stress, fatigue

  • Hormonal & Reproductive: Conception and fertility issues, hormonal imbalances, menstrual irregularities

  • Post-Viral & Immune Health: Long Covid, chronic viral or bacterial infections, fungal or mould-related issues, parasites

  • Nutritional & Environmental: Allergies, nutritional deficiencies, sensitivity to environmental stressors

  • Musculoskeletal & Autonomic: Structural injuries, CRPS, tendonitis, FND, POTS, muscular imbalances

By gently reconnecting the body’s innate pathways, we help you and your family return to a state of balance, resilience and vitality.

In many cases, these disruptions stem from a deeper level of neural inflammation — often driven by chronic stress, immune challenges, or nutritional imbalances. Supporting the nervous system to clear and calm this inflammation is a key part of long-term restoration, and something we address both through NIS and complementary lifestyle support.

Woman with no boundaries

Women’s Focus

At Neuro Restore, our Women’s Focus sessions are designed to support women of all ages and stages — mothers, daughters, sisters, aunties, and grandmothers — with a natural, holistic approach to restoring health, strength, and vitality.

These sessions combine the Neurological Integration System (NIS) with dural tissue therapy, working with your nervous system and connective tissue to create deep and lasting change.

This restorative treatment is especially supportive for:

  • Strengthening pelvic ligaments and muscles, pre- or post-pregnancy (no matter how long ago your pregnancy was)

  • Supporting recovery from vaginal wall trauma
(Please note: these treatments are entirely external — all techniques use gentle external pressure points only)

  • Supporting the bladder, easing haemorrhoids, and enhancing pelvic floor function

  • Helping the brain activate and regulate pelvic function, removing the need for conventional pelvic floor exercises

  • Improving mobility and alignment through the pelvis, spine, shoulders and neck

  • Supporting libido and hormonal balance

Many women report life-changing results — often finding relief from discomfort or trauma they believed they simply had to live with. One of the most common pieces of feedback is:

“I didn’t realise how much I was putting up with — and that I no longer have to.”

A Personal Note from Natalie

My own experience with this work brought relief from pelvic discomfort I’d lived with for over 16 years, following post-term pregnancies, traumatic birth, and multiple miscarriages. After just three sessions, the discomfort was gone — and it has not returned.

This experience ignited a deep passion in me to support other women in restoring their strength, connection and vitality, gently and naturally.

Dural Tissue Therapy (DTT)

Dural Tissue Therapy is a powerful, gentle, and holistic method designed to release trauma from the dural and meningeal tissues — the protective layers surrounding the nervous system, brain, and spinal cord.

This therapy works to restore communication within the nervous system by addressing restriction, inflammation, or trauma that may be disrupting signals between the brain and body. The goal is to support the body’s natural healing processes by allowing the nervous system to reset and regulate without interference.

Originally developed from over 20 years of clinical experience, Dural Tissue Therapy (DTT) has been used successfully for a wide range of complex presentations, including:

  • Post-concussion suppor: Relief from lingering symptoms such as headaches, dizziness, cognitive fog, and fatigue

  • Severe and recurring migraines: Targeting the root neurological tension contributing to migraines and facial pressure

  • Impact injuries: Supporting recovery from accidents, falls, or birth trauma (including for babies and children)

  • Immune system support and restoration: Especially when inflammation is playing a role in autoimmune, post-viral, or chronic fatigue symptoms

  • Nervous system overload and sensory issues: Helpful in calming overstimulation, stress responses, and regulating overstressed systems

DTT at Neuro Restore

At Neuro Restore, DTT is often combined with the Neurological Integration System (NIS) to provide deep, foundational care. While NIS restores neurological circuitry, DTT helps release physical and energetic restrictions along the spine and dura, enhancing the brain-body connection and supporting long-term change.

An important part of many clients’ recovery journeys involves addressing neural inflammation, a common underlying factor in many neurological and chronic conditions. By gently releasing tension and improving circulation within the dura and meningeal tissues, DTT helps to reduce neural inflammation, making it a beneficial and often essential component of a comprehensive, holistic recovery plan.

Together, these therapies provide a natural and holistic approach to addressing neural inflammation, structural imbalance, and stress-related dysfunction — whether physical, emotional, or immune in origin.

This gentle approach is suitable for all ages and stages, from newborns to adults, and is particularly effective for clients who have “tried everything” but are still seeking meaningful relief and restoration.
